Quail Pond Gas Leak

The Belle Pond Farm HOA wishes to extend its heartfelt thoughts and prayers to our Quail Pond Ct. friend and neighbor, Mr. Abdul Sadiq and his family, who have suffered the devastating and unimaginable tragedy of losing everything in a home explosion and fire.  We also wish to acknowledge the heroic neighbors who immediately rushed to help get him out of harm’s way. We are relieved to learn that there was only a minor injury sustained, and our hopes are that the long healing process, both physically and emotionally, has begun and will continue with each new day.

We encourage all members of the community, who have not already done so, to register for the Fairfax County alert system that has been established specifically for this incident by texting FFXINCIDENT to 888-777 and follow the registration instructions. You will receive alerts and updates from the County as the investigation continues as well as links to sites that provide support and helpful information particularly to residents who are still evacuated or without gas service at this time. The Fire Chief is also encouraging everyone to purchase a natural gas detector for your home along with properly functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

This is a sad and difficult time for our community and we all want quick answers; however, we must allow time for the NTSB along with the FCFD, FCPD, Washington Gas, and Williams Pipeline to work together to locate and repair the damaged pipe and to complete a thorough investigation into the cause, and future prevention, of this catastrophic event.

We encourage everyone to be cooperative and patient through this process and look after your neighbors now more than ever.

Welcome to Belle Pond Farm

Our single-family home community is in Fairfax County, Virginia, 22 miles west of downtown Washington, 10 miles from Washington-Dulles International Airport, and conveniently located just minutes off of I-66 between Routes 28 and 29.

Belle Pond Farm is a well established Centreville, Va., neighborhood surrounded by nearby shopping malls, restaurants, county parks, golf courses, churches, movie theaters, Cub Run Recreation Center, etc. Children who live in Belle Pond Farm may attend Cub Run Elementary, Stone Middle, and Westfield High schools, all part of the Fairfax County Public Schools system.

The community consists of 191 homes on a parcel of land conveyed to the Belle Pond Farm Homeowners Association. The Association is a non-stock, non-profit corporation. Each homeowner automatically becomes a member of the Association, with one vote per lot.

Snow Plow Information

Winter is here and it’s a good time to remind everyone that BPF community snow plowing is conducted by VDOT and not the HOA. Although the HOA is not responsible for plowing BPF streets, the board does constantly monitor plowing conditions of roads and will contact VDOT as needed.  However, the more calls made to VDOT, the better.  If your street or cul-de-sac does not get plowed in a timely manner, please call (800) FOR-ROAD and/or visit http://www.vdotplows.org to report it.  VDOT requests that residents shovel their sidewalks, especially around fire hydrants and bus stops.

Three Ways to Contact Your HOA

  1. Email is an easy option, using any of the addresses listed on the Contacts page.
  2. Call the HOA hotline number at (571) 358-9090 to leave a message and a board member will return your call.
  3. Also on the Contacts page is our mailing address.

This information is also available in the latest edition of the Belle Pond Farm Newsletter, which was mailed to your home.

Architectural Control

Please remember, before any change or addition to property within Belle Pond can be made, written approval must be given by the Board of Directors. Go to the Documents page to download the Architectural Approval Request Form.
